RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS

By booking at the Green Olive, you confirm your acceptance of the following:

GENERAL

  • All bookings for over 12 guests will require a deposit of £10 per cover to secure the booking.

  • This fee will be processed no later than 24 hours after the original scheduled booking.

  • If you are running late, please inform us otherwise we will be unable to hold your table for longer than 20 minutes

  • If you wish to bring any celebratory decorations such as balloons into the Green Olive, you are welcome to do this but please no table confetti

NO SHOWS AND LATE CANCELLATION

  • We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you’d like to cancel or amend the number of guests in your booking.  Please note we may not always have availability to increase your reservation: we will do our best!

  • Where credit card details have been provided to secure a booking – If notice is not received in time, and guests do not arrive within 20 minutes of their reservation, we reserve the right to charge a ‘no show’ fee of £10 per guest to the card given to secure the booking

  • In the process of increasing or decreasing your party size, please note that we may need to change the location of your dining table in the restaurant

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

  • For bookings made online or over the phone, you will receive a booking confirmation to the email address provided within few seconds of making your booking.

  • In addition to confirming your reservation details, this initial confirmation email will also include instructions to cancel or amend your booking should you need to.

  • For bookings of 12 or more, you will receive a link via email inviting you to provide credit card details to secure the reservation. Please note that your booking is only provisional until this is done. If we do not receive card details within 48 hours, your booking will be automatically released from the system. You will be notified via email if your booking has been released.

  • If no confirmation email is received, please contact us ASAP.

  • If you require email confirmation of any alterations or updates to existing bookings, please ask, as these are not sent automatically.

ARRIVAL AND TIMINGS

  • We operate a timed booking system to help us maintain a high standard of dining experience for all of our guests.

  • Bookings of 2 – 8people  before 7pm are for a maximum of 2-hours from the time of your booking although this can be discussed with management

  • Bookings for 12 people or more are for a maximum of 2 hours from the time of your booking.

  • Any requests for extensions to your booking time will need to be discussed and confirmed with the Management Team

  • Any bookings after 7.30pm has no time limit.

  • Please note that your table is booked from the time your booking begins, not your arrival time. Parties arriving late will nevertheless need to adhere to the above booking times.

Outdoor restaurant

Please note that in the case of bad weather, we will do everything we can to move you inside our restaurant.

  • Due to the popularity of the Green Olive, we operate a timed booking system to help us maintain a high standard of dining experience for all of our guests.

Gift Vouchers 

  • Gifts Vouchers can only be used in the Green Olive. The gift voucher must be presented as a method of payment at the restaurant. Photocopies will not be accepted, and all bookings must be made in advance. This is valid for the gift voucher value and is non-transferable.

  • Credit on most gift vouchers are redeemable straight away, no further action is required.

  • Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. No change or refund will be given.

  • If we believe a gift voucher is fraudulent, we reserve the right to cancel the purchase and remove credit.

  • We reserve the right to amend gift voucher terms and conditions from time to time when considered necessary.
